Winter Rush Announces Fat Bike Race Series

Grand Rapids, Mich, November 16, 2012 – Winter Rush, LLC announced that it will host a Grand Rapids based Fat Bike race series this coming winter. The race series consists of four separate events and the best 3 of 4 races will count toward the overall winner. The race series is presented by Central District Cyclery.

 

Here are the recently announced FatbikeGRR race series dates and locations:

 

December 16, 2012     Grand Rapids Bike Park
December 30, 2012     Indian Trails Golf Course
January 20, 2013         Indian Trails Golf Course
February 3, 2013         Richmond Park  

 

Race series pricing is as follows:

 

Single Race - $20
Duo - $40
Single Series - $65
Duo Series - $130

 

The Winter Rush Richmond Park 5K dates were also announced. The event will be held on February 2, 2013 at Richmond Park. The Winter Rush is a family friendly extreme race designed to incorporate the natural outdoor elements of Richmond Park. The course consists of obstacles that will challenge runners along the way. The race ends with sledding down the famous Richmond Park sledding hill.
